Scholarship applications due February 1

The American Association for the Surgery of Trauma (AAST) Research and Education Foundation is accepting applications until February 1 for 2014 Trauma, Surgical Critical Care, and Emergency General Surgery Scholarships. The one-year, $50,000 awards, which will run from July 1, 2014, to June 30, 2015, will support post-residency research by young surgeons who have completed their training within the last seven years and are committed to a career in acute care surgery, including trauma, surgical critical care, and emergency general surgery.
